The Ghosts of Fire

Hey guys. I just wanted to announce a new project that I’ve been working on with some of my seminary friends. Right now I’m still developing the look and design of the piece in between my freelance work. It’s very different from the style I work in everyday, so it’s a great way to grow and add to my quiver of tricks artistically.

As you click around the www.grimthorn.com website you will see that I do have a Christian worldview. I believe it makes the most sense of our existence on earth and believe its truth claims can be shown to be accurate given an honest examination into the evidence.

One of my goals in this blog/story, is to represent traditional Christianity as biblically as possible in the perspective of a foul demon leader bent on destroying human souls. As we proceed in developing this story I will be posting what we discover about Lord Grimthorn and his special forces group The Ghosts of Fire. Posts may include battle scenes, demonic weaponry, and the latest agents added to the team. Enter with caution and enjoy

Hey!

Wow! I'm shocked! This is such a good idea. It's something C.S. Lewis is looking down on from Heaven, thinking, "MAN! Why couldn't I have been around during this internent fad....thing, and thought of this! Genius!" Although I imagine he'd have said it in a bit more a profound way, but either way, this is an awesome idea, and I'll certainly be checking it out!

Man it's good to see that the site is officially up and running! Nice battle scene piece too dude. With more work like this being posted often, I'm sure folks will make it a point to check out Lord Grimthorn's blog of devistation on a regular basis. I'm gonna check it out right now! And of course it is nice to have some outlet to push past the bounderies, well artistically speaking anyway, so this looks like a win win situation for everybody man. Great work buddy!

Heath;
Great job on the Grimthorn site and artwork. The site has a great look and style and the reference/content are spot on my brother! I think this is going to get a lot of feedback and response from both sides. Excellent job.

Awesome stuff Heath! Always great to see a fellow Christian Illustrator doing well and not being afraid to stand up for what he believes! And you are a very talented one at that.

Hey Heath,
Great image, this has a cool old timey feel to it as far as film goes. Kinda like Sky Captain and the World of Tomarrow. I've been a fan of your work since the good Ol' ACME Animation Program. I can't wait to see more.

Some really great work there. Will be interesting to see how you approach this. Would really love to see some of these characters animated. Woo.

I was a bit disappointed to see a link to the vile, pathological liar James Dobson on the site. If anything, he should be on the list of friends of Grimthorn.

Interesting,
So very very interesting indeed... !

Actually, it´s like to see when someone uses( trust me, now THAT is rare, and so precious for that )his/her own creative/artistic skills to stand up for what one believes in - in an ethical approach, of course; and you´re doing it for sure.
In fact, I really appreciate people who have something to say( and do )thru it.

I certainly will visit your website and project way more than often; it´s not a matter of skill or techniques implied( foremost I´d be taking it so shallowly IF I´d take as so forth, as merely as that - which is not the case, of course ), though those are so present on your outstanding works there; I´m interested on the standpoints you express thru there.

So, many congratulations for now.

Best wishes
Marcos Pinto

( P.S.: I´m sorry for the previously deleted comment from mine - but, since it was with some typos I couldn´t stand to leave afterall )
